Guys!
During long summer days, I am slowly starting to ride through the route for the next edition. It will be mostly the same, but two official shortcuts will be added for participants who prefer a more touring pace.
The tentative date for Oremon 2027 is May 21–23. The event capacity will remain limited to 50 participants.
Because I am negotiating the rental of a new, but more expensive, start/finish facility (see photo), the organizational fee will likely increase. For the same reason, registration will open earlier.
I will gradually post further information here.

The first edition is behind us!
Despite the pitfalls of spring weather and the difficulty of the muddy route, the first edition of Oremon Krušky Open 2026 took place on schedule.
In the end, 20 brave riders lined up at the start, with 12 reaching the finish line, 10 of whom completed the entire route. Given the persistent rain, waterlogged trail, and low temperatures, it was indeed a demanding event. Yet despite all the hardships, it was ultimately rated positively. Participants were even asking about the next edition at the finish line! And when it snowed again the following week, they noted that the weather could actually have been worse. After all, a properly set difficulty level is the best recipe for deep experiences.
I learned a lot during the organization myself, and if all goes well, I will try to improve a few things for the next edition. However, I would like the event to remain in the format of a joint ride with limited capacity.
I would also like to thank all participants here. Special thanks to my wife for her overall support, to Libor without whom the event could not have happened, to my brother for the photos, and to Leona and Mirka for the delicious cakes.

Registration is closed
If you have any questions regarding late registration, please contact me via the registration form.
We have 19 participants, so it will be a smaller, relaxed event. T-shirts, race numbers, and food are ordered. I will be contacting participants with the next set of information.
In the meantime, I will try to ride through at least some sections of the route.
And since the start date is approaching fast, I ask everyone to respond quickly to instructions sent by email (payments, starter questionnaire). If anyone is considering registering at the last minute, please do not hesitate and do it right away. Otherwise, the correct size for your participant T-shirt or your favorite food might not be available for you.

Routing updates
I managed to injure my knee while skiing and unfortunately won’t be able to ride through the entire route before the start.
But since Oremon is not a race and these events are mostly about being outdoors and enjoying nature, I hope participants will excuse any sections that might be harder to ride through.
December 2025
Registration is open!
To register, please fill out the form on the Registration page. You will be asked to pay the registration fee once 10 participants have signed up. This number was set as a reasonable minimum to handle the organization, rentals, accommodation, etc.
In September, I went to check out Istraland and returned full of great memories. I will definitely adjust selected sections of the route. I want the Ore Mountains route to have as few “selection” sections as possible—the kind of harsh terrain designed solely to create gaps and time differences between riders. On what was meant to be more of a leisure event in Croatia, some of those sections felt a bit unnecessary, especially in the second half of the route. I don’t want those in the Ore Mountains—no unrideable steep climbs through brush. Ideally, the entire Oremon route should be scenic and enjoyable.
